Alumni Association Events
April 28, 2010 - This year, the Anselmo-Merna Alumni Reunion and Heritage Days festivities are to be held on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010.
The BBQ is scheduled to be served from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Merna Park followed by the alumni business meeting. In the event of inclement weather, both will be held in the Merna Community Building. Please plan to attend! You are always encouraged to register at the Alumni Meeting. In the future, if you would like to serve as an officer of the Anselmo-Merna Alumni Association, please notify one of the officers listed below.
Your alumni dues of $3.00 per A-M alumnus would be greatly appreciated. (Please complete the lower portion of the form previously mailed to you, (or this PDF Donation Form) and return it to the Alumni Association. Donations are also being accepted to help defray the costs of the BBQ and for the A-M Scholarship Fund.) Please designate on the form where you would like your contribution distributed.

Saturday
- 7:30 a.m. - Free Pancake Feed until 9:30 a.m. in the High School Commons (Sponsored by the A-M School Board & Administration.)
- 7:30 a.m. - 1-mile Fun Run/Walk - Community Center (Information Number: 308.643.2559)
- 8:00 a.m. - 5K & 10K Fun Run/Walk - Community Center (Information Number: 308.643.2559)
- 8:30 a.m. - Line-up for parade - Football Concession Stand
- 9:30 a.m. - Entries close for judging in the parade
- 10:00 a.m. - Parade begins down Main Street (Information Number: 308.872.2320)
- 11:00 a.m. - Lunch until 1:00 p.m. in the Community Center (Sponsored by the Merna Area Promoters) - Community Center
- 11:00 a.m. - Pedal Tractor Pull on Main Street (Sponsored by the Merna American Legion.)
- 11:00 a.m. - 5th Annual Tractor/Pickup Pull; follow the signs. (Organized by the "Central Nebraska Pullers" - (Call 308.870.0807 or 308.362.9026 for more information.)
- 12:00 p.m. - Storybook Land games, activities & prizes for the kids. (Sponsored by the Heritage Days Committee on Main Street)
- 12:00 p.m. - Mud Volleyball - (Call 308.643.2227 or 308.643.7205for more information.)
- 1:30 p.m. - Bingo at the Community Center
- 5:00 p.m. - Ping Pong Ball Drop for kids up to age 12 on Main Street
- 5:15 p.m. - Alumni Registration in the City Park
- 5:30 p.m. - BBQ & Alumni Meeting until 7:00 p.m. in the City Park
- 8:30 p.m. - Watermelon Feed (Sponsored by the Merna Volunteer Fire Department at the Merna Ball Field)
- 10:00 p.m. - Fireworks by the Merna Volunteer Fire Department at the Merna Ball Field
